PANEL FOR OXYGEN GENERATION PLANT

The pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technique to produce high purity oxygen is researched by using a zeolite molecular sieve column and a carbon sieve column. A control system based on PLC is designed to regulate the flow and pressure, as well as to control the solenoid valves, with the advantages of high adaptability and reliability. The technical process of two adsorption stages is selected, the optimum adsorption time of every column is determined and the effect of air displacement on oxygen purity in the carbon molecular sieve column is analyzed.

PANEL FOR QUICK WATERING SYSTEM FOR INDIAN RAILWAYS

The system comprises of the following:

  1. Motor Control Centre (MCC) for Booster Pumps with wide range of discharge heads depending on the number of trains/coaches in each train available for watering at any time.
  2. Automatic operation of all pumps. The sequence of starting of pumps shall be decided by the Control System (PLC), so that every time the first pump in earlier sequence do not start. This will ensure proper utilization of all the pumps.
  3. Provision of suction and delivery manifold to ensure continuous flow of water.
  4. Provision of Pressure Sensor on main discharge header (delivery manifold) for automatic control of pumps.
  5. Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for speed control and energy savings. Pumps are controlled by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for optimum performance of the system. Availability of Human Machine Interface (HMI) for smart operation of the system with real-time data logging, alarms and trends.
  6. Dry run protection for all pumps. In case of non-availability of water in the suction manifold, the system shall automatically shut down.
